World Record Breakers!

We're delighted to report that the Midsummer Skinny Dip 2011 event, as well as raising over £25000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care, is also the new world record holder for the most number of skinny dippers at one location! Woooohoooo!!

World record breakers!!

Oh yes, and of course lots of skinny dippers were also there because they wanted to be part of a brand new world record! And the great news is that the lovely people at Guinness have confirmed that our application has been successful - wooooooohoo!!

We are the current holders of the world record for most number of skinny dippers (413) at one location - hurrah!

Hey there - just over a week to go! Hands up if you're excited - woop woop!

The lovely chaps at West Wales Print are going to make some T-shirts for the event which you can purchase at a mere £5 (£1 of which will go directly to National Trust - hurrah!) If you'd like one in time for next weekend, then get in touch by 5pm on Monday 13th June so Ray can get the printers running.

If you've signed up for the Midsummer Skinny Dip you might also be interested in the Manor Farm Music Festival on 16th July - they're also raising funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care and have a lovely looking line-up.

Dip in the Nip

We thought the idea of a massive fundraising skinny dip was pretty original, but it turns out that a group of plucky Irish women have been doing it for years! And this year, believe it or not, their event, 'Dip in the Nip' is taking place on the very same day as the Midsummer Skinny Dip!! How cool is that?

If you're over in Ireland and would like to join in with Maire Garvey and the gang for their skinny dip event, then go to their website www.dipinthenip.eu. We wonder whether there's a world record for people skinny dipping at two locations...!
